Guidelines and Resources Committee

The Garrod Guideline Committee was established to formulate clinical guidelines, endorse existing guidelines, and write statements pertaining to specific Metabolic diseases/disorders. The Committee will assemble Task Forces to conduct the literature review of specific diseases/disorders. These Task Forces will report back to the Committee. Evaluation and endorsement of existing guidelines will be done using the AGREE II tool.

Liaison and Relationship Committee

The Liaison and Relationship Committee was established to function as a liaison between patients and their families with IEMs. The committee could liaise with patient organizations, could work with provincial drug plans and be recognized as an intermediary between support groups and Industry to help people navigate the healthcare and reimbursement landscape.

Grants and Awards Committee

The Grants and Awards Committee is dedicated to developing programs that provide meaningful awards to its members on behalf of the Garrod Association. Click here for more information.
