Membership Types
Full Members (Class A)
Full membership in the Association is open to:
(a) Any health professional, scientist or trainee formally affiliated with a treatment centre listed in Appendix “A” attached to the present by-laws.
(b) Any health professional, scientist or trainee formally affiliated with a hospital, university, government department, research institute, or like institution who is engaged in professional or academic activities in the field of hereditary metabolic diseases.
Full Members of the Association are eligible for membership on the Board, and are entitled to attend and vote at meetings of members, and may serve on any standing or ad hoc committees of the Association.
Associate Members (Class B)
Associate membership in the Association is open to any person with an interest in the field of hereditary metabolic diseases, but not meeting the requirements for Full Membership.
Associate Members of the Association are entitled to attend meetings of members, and may serve on ad hoc committees of the Association that are open to Associate members.
